How do these pizza logs differ from other kiln dried hardwood?

Harrington have conducted a lot of research to ensure that these pizza oven logs are the optimum size for pizza ovens. Compared to normal logs, the size has been specially cut to fit pizza ovens and tabletop ovens. Not only do these pizza logs fit into ovens perfectly but the unique shape of both small and long logs mean you can get the most out of your cooking time . These logs heat the oven quickly and give you maximum burn time.

Are these logs sustainably sourced?

Harrington are passionate about sustainability and adopt measures to ensure our wood is harvested legally. All of their timber is delivered from British sustainable woodlands, meaning it does not impact ecosystems, watersheds and surrounding wildlife. They place sustainability at the heart of everything they do and try to embrace ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ as much as possible. The majority of products are now packaged in boxes that can be composted, recycled and reused and have minimised single-use plastic.

Harrington are Woodsure certified and aim to ensure that the product range is as environmentally friendly as possible. Working in partnership with One Tree Planted they also make sure that every purchase from the website will result in one tree is planted in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest.
